Norwegian Nominates WikiLeaks For Nobel Peace Prize

WikiLeaks has been nominated for the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize by a Norwegian lawmaker named Snorre Valen. Valen said that Wikileaks’ disclosure of classified documents promotes world peace by holding governments accountable. The Nobel Committee encourages any member of the national government to make nominations. [Washington Post]
