The Skin Gun Can Uses Stem Cells To Heal Skin Burns [VIDEO]

The Skin Gun is a device that was developed by Jörg C. Gerlach, M.D. Ph.D. of the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. The Skin Gun was used on Matthew Uram, a state police officer in Pennsylvania. When Uram was attending a party with a bonfire, someone threw a cup of gasoline on the fire while he was standing next to it. Uram’s face, arm, and hand had second degree burns. After being a candidate for the The Skin Gun, his wounds healed over the weekend. The Skin Gun took healthy stem cells from the skin and sprayed it on the wounds.
