Twitter Community Upset At Kenneth Cole Account

Fashion retailer Kenneth Cole has a Twitter account that used a popular, yet controversial hashtag for their own selfish purposes and it was in poor taste. “Millions are in uproar in #Cairo. Rumor is they heard our new spring collection is now available online at -KC” said Kenneth Cole’s social media representative in a tweet. Kenneth Cole sent out an apology tweet, but it was too late. “Re Egypt tweet: we weren’t intending to make light of a serious situation. We understand the sensitivity of this historic moment -KC” said Kenneth Cole. [Huffington Post]
