Inflight WiFi Service Gogo Raises $35 Million

Aircell, the company that runs the Gogo inflight WiFi service has raised $35 million in funding. This brings them to about $500 million in total funding so far. Aircell CEO Michael Small said that the company is on the path to profitability. The company has been growing at a rapid pace as more airlines are installing WiFi on their planes. In the 3 weeks before Thanksgiving, Gogo did about 3 million WiFi sessions and they recently did their 10 millionth session. [BusinessInsider]
