Meraki Raises $15 Million In Series C

Meraki is a cloud-based wireless networking company that has raised $15 million in Series C funding led by Sequoia Capital. Meraki has raised a total of $40 million in funding thus far. Some of their previous investors include Google, DAG Ventures, and Northgate Capital. Meraki builds large scale wireless networks used by businesses, schools, etc. Some of their clients include Burger King, Stanford, Albany State, and THQ. The company spun out of MIT in 2006 and ended 2010 with over 17,000 networks deployed worldwide. [TechCrunch]
