GM Workers May Get Record Bonuses Based On 2010 Results

General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) employees may receive some profit-sharing checks. According to the United Auto Workers union Vice President Joe Ashton, bonuses are likely to top the $1,775 average that workers saw in 1999. That was the company’s biggest pay-out to date. The union leaders will know the bonus information by February 14th. “The hard work and dedication of the UAW workforce is one of the main reasons that GM is profitable,” said UAW Local 602 President Brian Fredline. “We shared in the sacrifice and we expect to share in the success.” [LSJ]
