MacBook Air With Sandy Bridge Expected To Arrive In June

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is planning to launch a new MacBook Air line of computers with Intel’s Sandy Bridge processors this June according to CNET. Intel had to temporarily cease delivery of the Sandy Bridge 6-Series processors due to an error, which may end up costing $1 billion. Intel plans to resume chipset delivery in the middle of this month. The MacBook Air currently uses a Core 2 Duo chip, which they have been using for the last 3 years. Computer manufacturing companies are anxious to integrate Sandy Bridge into their devices because it speeds up gaming graphics and multimedia.
