ReachLocal went public this past May and they have acquired a daily deals website called DealOn.com for $10 million. DealOn is attempting to target daily deals for women in their 30s to 50s. ReachLocal is known for helping small businesses advertise online so the DealOn acquisition makes sense. “Much in the same way we bring SMBs’ Search, Display and Social Media spend to online publishers, we see a large opportunity to play the same, central role in the deals ecosystem by becoming the premier source of deals from local merchants to publishers,” stated ReachLocal CEO Zorik Gordon.
