Verizon Wireless has sold over 1 million Apple iPhone 4 devices. About 60% of the sales were preorders, which is why the retail lines were a bit small on launch day. Not bad considering that 1.7 million iPhone 4s were debuted last year. Another reason why there wasn’t a larger number of sales is because some people are holding out for the iPhone 5 due this summer. [The Street]
