At the Mobile World Congress conference, T-Mobile announce two new entry-level smartphones that will be available this Spring. The Samsung Galaxy Mini will have a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, 600MHz processor, 150MB internal storage, microSDHC support, and Android 2.2. The T-Mobile Move has Android 2.2, 2.8-inch 320×240 pixel display, 2 megapixel camera, 150MB internal storage, and microSDHC support. These two will be available between $50-$75. [BGR]

This week, the U.S. government has taken down some domain names. The Department of Justice and the U.S. Immigration and Customers Enforcement seized several domain names related to counterfeit goods and child pornography. However one of the domain names was on a free DNS provider so 84,000 other websites were wrongly accused of the aforementioned crimes. Thousands of website owners were surprised with the above banner. The domain names and subdomains were restored on Sunday, but it took about 3 days before the image disappeared completely. Sony is rumored to be working on a new tablet called the S1 that will feature Playstation games. It will run on Android Honeycomb and will have a 9.4-inch screen with a 1280×800 display. The processor will be an NVIDIA Tegra 2 and the tablet will have front/rear cameras. Motorola Mobility Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:MMI) has announced that the Xoom tablet will sell for a price of $799 without subsidies. The WiFi-only version will cost $600 according to CEO Sanjay Jha. The Xoom runs on Android. “I am as focused on Android as I ever have been. As a result of Nokia adopting Microsoft it’s possible that some of the other players concentrate on Android,” said Jha. According to a source with BoyGeniusReport, sales of the Apple iPhone 4 through Verizon Wireless did not meet expectations. Pre-orders for the iPhone 4 was at about 550,000. After Emanuel left The White House, someone had created a fake Twitter account called @MayorEmanuel. This Twitter account is a funny, yet explicit imposter. @MayorEmanuel has 25,500 followers and is updated regularly. The fake account was made by someone that is aware of his campaign schedule. On the “Roe & Roeper” show, Emanuel said that he will offer $2,500-$5,000 to the charity of the individual’s choice that reveals the real identity of the account.
