Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has announced an extension for the Google Chrome browser so that people can block websites from their web search results. Then the blocked search results get sent to Google to determine whether that website should be knocked down from the top results. Above is a screenshot of what it looks like when the extension is being used. Afterwards you can unblock and edit the list of websites you want blocked by going to the settings of the extension. According to Cult of Mac, the upcoming rumored smaller iPhones will only have enough memory to buffer media streamed from the cloud, meaning only storage memory. Memory in the iPhone 4 is one of the most expensive components in the smartphone. Content would be streamed from MobileMe. In other words, MobileMe would service as a “locker” for photos, music, videos, etc.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is building a new line of iPhones that are less expensive than existing devices. The prototype of the new iPhones are about half the size of the iPhone 4 and will cost half the price. Apple is also rebuilding the MobileMe online storage service. The service lets people sync calendars and contacts on Mac OS, iPhone, iPod, and iPad devices. Apple is considering making MobileMe free according to the Wall Street Journal. [WSJ]
