Windows 8 Screenshot Leaks, Showcasing Improved Taskbar

A screenshot of the Windows 8 operating system has been leaked. Icons on the taskbar will have a progress indicator for hardware installation. For example, in the screenshot above you can see a mouse getting installed. One of the best new features is “Factory Restore.”

Factory Restore lets you do a hard-reset to the original state of the computer in 2 minutes. This is much faster than the System Restore feature in Windows 7. Installation of Windows 8 will be very quick — about 8 minutes, or 2.5 times faster than Windows 7. But Microsoft was using an 8-core CPU to get that number.
