RIM Announces PlayBook Versions, Pricing, and Stores

Research In Motion Limited (TSE:RIM) has announced plans for the PlayBook. The PlayBook will be available at over 20,000 retail stores across the U.S. and Canada. The price starts at $499. Stores that the device will be available include AT&T, Best Buy, RadioShack, Sprint, Staples, Future Shop, and Office Depot on April 19th. At Best Buy, you will be able to buy the BlackBerry PlayBook with WiFi in 16GB ($499), 32GB ($599), or 64GB ($699). You can pre-order the device starting today. [TechCrunch]
