Sprint Announces HTC Evo 3D

Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE:S) has announced the HTC Evo 3D at the CTIA 2011 conference. The Evo 3D runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and it has a 3D camera. The Evo 3D has a 4.3-inch QHD display and touch screen. The Evo 3D has two 5-megapixel cameras for capture the 3D video with a flash sitting between.

There is a toggle switch on the side of the smartphone that switches between 2D (1080p) and 3D (720p). Next to that switch is a shutter control and a volume rocker. A second 1.3-megapixel camera sits on the front-face camera. At the top of the phone is a 3.5mm headset jack and power control. There is also a micro-USB charging and syncing port. Other features include 1.2GHz processor, 4GB internal memory, 1730mAh battery, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, Google apps, e-mail, messaging, and a music player.
