Verizon Wireless CEO Daniel Mead said that he would not oppose AT&T’s plan to acquire T-Mobile USA for $39 billion. He also said that Verizon Wireless does not have any interest in buying Sprint Nextel Corporation. “We’re not interested in Sprint. We don’t need them,” stated Mead at the CTIA Wireless Conference.
