Google is going to launch a button for publishers called +1. +1 is similar to the Facebook Like button that you see on news websites like ours. The button will be rolled out over the next several months.

The +1 button will be related to a social network and social layer that Google is building. A small percentage of Google users will notice the buttons across Google.com in the U.S. when they are logged in. You will also be able to force Google to add it by visiting Google Experimental. When you click on the +1 button on search results, it colors on. You will also have the option to undo the +1 vote.

How will you be able to track which websites that you voted upon? Google will be adding a +1 tab on your Google profile. You can see my Google profile here: https://profiles.google.com/achowdhry/about
