Facebook Being Sued For Over $1 Billion For Not Removing “Third Intifada” Page Fast Enough
Facebook and the company’s co-founder Mark Zuckerberg is being sued for $1 billion as part of a lawsuit that a “Third Intifada” Page was not removed quick enough. It is likely that Facebook will win as I’m assuming that the Communications Decency Act protects them. Political activist, former Justice Department prosecutor, and former U.S. Senate Candidate Larry Klayman is suing the one suing Facebook for $1 billion.
The Page that Klayman wanted to have removed right away was called Third Intifada. The Third Intifada called for violence against the Jewish population in Israel. The page was removed on March 29th for violation of Facebook’s terms of service. By then the page had over 300,000 “likes.”
The most ridiculous part of Klayman’s statement in the lawsuit is that he referred to the movie The Social Network. The Social Network is mostly fictional where Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is portrayed as a complete opportunist. “Apparently, the ethically compromised Zuckerberg has no conscience or sense of right or wrong, as depicted recently in the award winning film ‘Social Network,'” said Klayman.@amitchowdhry or on Google+ at +AmitChowdhry
