Apple iPods To Eventually Have WiFi Syncing [RUMOR]

According to a rumor Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is prototyping iPods with carbon-fiber cases that have the ability to support WiFi syncing. Apple recently hired a carbon fiber expert named Kevin Kenney and the company has been testing the technology over the last 2 years. “Jobs is pushing hard to get WiFi syncing into the next-generation of iPods,” stated a source with CultOfMac. “They’ve tried multiple different body designs and materials to get it to work well but it’s been slow going,” added the source. However improvements have been made using a carbon fiber design similar to what is displayed in the image above. [CultOfMac]
