Social Network Lockerz Raises $30 Million

Lockerz is a Seattle-based social network that has raised $30 million in a fresh round of funding. Investors in this round include former Microsoft CFO Greg Maffei and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Lockerz has about 70 employees and the SEC filing associated with the funding indicates that they will raise $45 million. Lockerz was started by former PR executive Kathy Savitt.
