Bidmyway Parent Company Elite Media Worx Raises $1.35 Million In Funding

Elite Media Worx is a start-up company that built a local deals auction website called Bidmyway. The company has raised $1.35 million in funding. The company is being coined an “eBay for deal-of-the-day sites.” Four Holdings Direction was the lead investor. EMC Precision President Brad Ohlemacher also participated in this round of funding.

Bidmyway allows users to name their best price for local goods and services. Merchants that participate can either reject or accept the bids based on their own thresholds. And the winning bids are kept confidential. Elite Media Worx runs another website called Elite City Deals.

Elite Media Works is led by John Shave, an entrepreneur that sold his previous company Globalcom to First Communications for nearly $60 million a couple of years ago. Elite Media Works is planning on raise a larger round of funding in the near future.
