Sony MASTERWORKS has signed the band 2CELLOS. The two 24 year old music students Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser currently live in a small town in Croatia. After their “Smooth Criminal” video surpassed 5 million views on YouTube, Sony decided to sign them. The two even got a phone call from Elton John, who had invited them on his European tour this summer. The two will be appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres show on April 25th too.

“I feel so blessed that all of this is happening – a record deal with Sony MASTERWORKS and a tour with Elton John – who would have imagined?!” stated Luka Sulic. The two have played the cello since they were kids. The two recently completed studies at the Royal Academy in London.
