SurveyMonkey, one of the largest online survey companies, has acquired Infinity Box Inc., the parent company of Wufoo. The companies did not reveal the details about the transaction, but it is rumored that the price was around $35 million in cash and stock.

Wufoo is a web application where users can create online forms. Wufoo creates the online forms, builds the database, and scripts needed for collecting and understanding submitted data. This acquisition will allow SurveyMonkey to offer online firms. The Wufoo team will be moved over to Palo Alto to join the combined company. Wufoo launched in 2006.
