Terje Sorgjerd visited El Teide, the highest mountain in Spain at around 3,718 meters, between April 4th and April 11th. While visiting, he made a timelapse video with a goal to capture the Milky Way galaxy. During the course of that week, Terje got about 10 hours of sleep total.

The Acer Iconia Tab A500 is now available for purchase at Best Buy for $450. The Iconia is powered by the Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) operating system. Other specs of the Iconia Tab A500 include a 10.1-inch screen 1280×800 TFT WXGA screen, NVIDIA Tegra 250 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, and 16GB of flash storage. Capacity can be increased to about 32GB through a microSD card. The Iconia Tab A500 also has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera for video chatting. Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) has acquired IntoNow for between $20-$30 million. IntoNow is like the “Shazam of TV.” IntoNow’s SoundPrint platform allows mobile app users to listen to a TV show and it will find a match within 4-12 seconds of listening to the audio. IntoNow will notify the user about the individual episode being watched.

SurveyMonkey Acquires Wufoo Parent Company Infinity Box For Roughly $35 Million

SurveyMonkey, one of the largest online survey companies, has acquired Infinity Box Inc., the parent company of Wufoo. The companies did not reveal the details about the transaction, but it is rumored that the price was around $35 million in cash and stock.

Verizon Wireless has announced their first quarter results and reported that they have activated 2.2 million iPhones in the first quarter and about 500,000 4G devices. Of the 500,000 4G devices, 260,000 were HTC Thunderbolts.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) has announced their first quarter earnings. AT&T had met the expectations of Wall Street as they reported earnings of $3.4 billion on revenues of $31.2 billion. They are up 2.3% from a year ago. AT&T’s subscribers have been increased due to tablets and e-readers.
