T-Mobile has launched a royal wedding video as part of a promotional campaign. They did a royal wedding version of the Jill and Kevin’s Wedding Entrance viral video. If you have any videos hosted on Google Video, you may want to download them and upload them again on YouTube. Google Video is shutting down on April 29th, the same day that Google is ending the Tags service. Google stopped allowing videos from being uploaded to Videos in May 2009. Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) is shutting down Tags, an advertising service for local businesses to sponsor their listings. For example, you will notice that North Valley Optometry has a yellow tag for people to view photos of their business in a sponsored result above. Google was charging $25 per month for this feature. The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) has added the .XXX top level domain to root nameservers. Some domain name registration companies have been taking pre-registrations, but the actual timeline for the .XXX TLD launch is unknown. [Domain Name News]
According to Pocketnow.com, HTC is building a Windows Phone 7 device that has a 16-megapixel camera with dual LED flash. This is about double what most of the newest smartphones have.
