Recently Samsung Electronics has filed a lawsuit against Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL). Clearly this is a response to the lawsuit that Apple filed against them. Samsung claims that Apple infringes on 10 of their mobile technology patents, which include 3G quality of service, power reduction systems, wireless data management, and data communication technology. What makes this patent lawsuit interesting is that Apple is a major Samsung customer. Apple’s business with Samsung makes up about 4% of the Korean manufacturing company’s revenue. [Geek.com]

Nintendo Co. Ltd. said that they plan on launching a Wii console successor in 2012 as they recently reported a slump in profits. Nintendo is expecting that profits will be remaining flat in the current financial year. Nintendo plans on demonstrating the Wii replacement at the E3 game show on June 7 in Los Angeles, California.

Daily coupon deals website Groupon.com has hired Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) VP of Global Sales Operations Margo Georgiadis. Georgiadis will become the chief operating officer of Groupon. Groupon COO Rob Solomon exited the company in March and as the company prepares for an IPO, they need a fully staffed board. Georgiadis won’t have to move far to start her new job.
