Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been considered a billionaire over the last couple of years, but he has not been a big spender since then. He was still renting a moderate house and apartment since he moved Facebook’s headquarters from his dorm room at Harvard to California. Zuckerberg has bought his first house in California and MercuryNews.com has it that Zuckerberg spent $7 million on the 5,000 square feet Palo Alto, California home. It is a 10 minute drive from Facebook’s new headquarters in Menlo Park.
His Palo Alto house has five bedrooms, a saltwater pool, and a music alcove. Up until now, Zuckerberg has found most of his rental homes through Craigslist. In other words despite all the wealth Zuckerberg has attained, he still knows how to stretch a dollar. Larry Page and Steve Jobs also live in the city of Palo Alto.
