T-Mobile Lost 471,000 Contract Customers In Q1

As T-Mobile prepares to be absorbed into AT&T, the company has reported their Q1 results. T-Mobile said that they lost 471,000 net contract customers in the first quarter. About a year ago, they lost 77,000 during the same time period. And last quarter, they lost 318,000 contract customers. T-Mobile blames the decline on “fewer contract gross customer additions and continued high contract churn due to competitive pressures.” AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint continue to outpace T-Mobile on devices and networks.
