50 Cent Launching New Headphones Product, Ending Deal With Sleek Audio

50 Cent has ended his partnership with Sleek Audio over the “Sleek by 50” line of headphones. The Sleek by 50 headphones debuted in January. 50 Cent is starting a new line of headphones through a new company and will compete with Sleek Audio. 50 Cent terminated a tri-party agreement that was made between Sleek Audio, G-Unit, and TV Goods.

50 Cent owns shares in direct response marketing organization TV Goods. 50 Cent entered into an agreement with TV Goods through affiliate company SMS Audio LLC. This cuts out Sleek Audio as a middle man.

“As an artist, I am committed to bringing top-of-the-line audio products to my fans,” said 50 Cent in an interview with XXL, “and I am excited that I have the resources to achieve just that with this new venture.” TV Goods chairman Kevin Harrington said that the partnership with 50 Cent may lead to more than just headphones.
