Facebook: “Zuckerberg Denies The Allegations” That Ceglia Is Owed Equity
Yesterday Facebook officially said that Paul Ceglia is a “scam artist” and said that the evidence he has against the company was “fabricated.” Ceglia claims to have e-mails from Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg that guarantees him at least half ownership in the social network company. While Facebook’s statement bashed on Ceglia, the legal statement painted a different picture about the situation.
“Zuckerberg denies the allegations…. Facebook denies the allegations on the basis that it lacks knowledge or information sufficient to form a belief as to the truth of the allegations contained therein,” stated Facebook in a legal response. This is basically saying that Facebook does not have the evidence that is sufficient to form a fully confident statement that Ceglia is full of it.
Ceglia said that the Facebook ownership contract was signed in 2003. The reason why he decided to file the complaint now is because he recently found the contract in his archives after he faced a lawsuit that relates to his wood-pellet business.@amitchowdhry or on Google+ at +AmitChowdhry
