Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) European head Eric Cador has high hopes for the HP TouchPad tablet. While at a press conference at Cannes, Cador said “in the PC world, with fewer ways of differentiating HP’s products from our competitors, we became number one; in the tablet world we’re going to become better than number one. Square is a mobile payments startup company that has shipped about 500,000 card readers. Square reported about 1 million transactions in May and the company is processing about $3 million in mobile payments per day. Square has announced a new service today called Square Register.
