A 16 year old girl named Thessa in Germany had to leave her own party when she forgot to make it private. Her party became a meme and 15,000 people checked that they would be there. About 1,500 guests showed up along with 100 police officers. Some of those who showed up carried a sign that said “Where is Thessa?”

Some of the party-goers chanted “Thessa, celebrating a birthday is not a crime” in response to the presence of the police officers. A lot of the guests brought birthday presents and a birthday cake. “It was sheer insanity but mostly peaceful,” stated police spokesman Mirko Streiber. Thessa laid low at her grandparents’ house.
