For those of you that prefer to update Twitter from the web instead of a third party application, your life has just been made easier. Twitter has added automatic link shortening to Twitter.com. When you paste a link into the tweet box on Twitter.com and hit the “Tweet” button, Twitter will automatically shorten it for you.
