Google Buys AdMeld For $400 Million

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has acquired advertising optimization company AdMeld for $400 million. AdMeld launched in 2007 and raised about $30 million in venture capital funding. AdMeld CEO Michael Barrett was fired from News Corp. in 2008 when MySpace’s parent division failed to hit $1 billion in target revenues. [TechCrunch]
