Consumers can now order groceries on their phones through AmazonFresh’s mobile app—if they have a Microsoft Windows Phone and live in the Seattle area. The specifics aren’t as surprising as they seem; as GeekWire notes, Seattle is home to a lot of Windows Phones because Seattle is home to more than 40,000 Microsoft employees.  The app was developed by Metia/Seattle and is available in the Windows Phone Marketplace. Amazon Fresh was launched in Seattle about four years ago, delivering fresh groceries throughout the Seattle Area.
