Animoto Raises $25 Million for Video Production Service

Animoto, a video editing software startup, has raised $25 million in funding. Investors include Spectrum Equity Investors, Madrona Venture Group and Amazon. TechCrunch reports that the company has more than 3 million registered users, 100,000 of whom pay for the service. Spectrum’s Ben Spero joined Animoto’s board.
