Fusion-io is a memory module company that helps make data centers run more efficiently. Fusion-io went public on the New York Stock Exchange today. Interestingly, the NYSE actually depends on Fusion-io’s technology for their own data center energy needs. Fusion-io raised $233 million through their IPO.

Visa has acquired mobile financial services provider company Fundamo for $110 million. Fundamo works closely with financial institutions and network operators to provide mobile financial services to developing countries. The acquisition was made entirely in cash.

Hewlett Packard has announced that the HP TouchPad tablet is arriving on July 1st. This is the first webOS-powered tablet being sold by HP. The features of the tablet include a 9.7-inch XGA display, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and NFC capabilities. The 16GB version will be selling for $499.99 and the 32GB version will sell for $599.99. HP will be selling a 3G version through AT&T later this summer. Below is the press release:

Coupons.com has raised $200 million from a group of institutional investors and mutual fund companies. This investment was made at roughly a $1 billion valuation. Coupons.com is expecting to make $100 million in 2011 revenues. The company may have an IPO in 2012.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has changed their guidelines for the pricing of their in-app subscriptions for the App Store. Now subscriptions no longer have to be the same price or less than what is offered outside of the app. There is no longer any guidelines about the prices at all.

(NASDAQ:AAPL) co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs had attended the Cupertino City Council meeting to do a presentation about his idea for a new Apple building which would be in the shape of a spaceship. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has acquired Prodiance, a risk management (ERM) software company. Microsoft had acquired Prodiance “to bring more compliance functionality within Microsoft Office.” Microsoft will be integrating Prodiance software into future versions of Office and SharePoint.
