GSR Ventures Raises a $350 Million Fund for Chinese Startups
Chinese venture capital company GSR Ventures has raised a fund of $350 million to invest in Chinese startup companies. This is GSR Venture’s fourth venture fund, and it was secured in 6 weeks, mostly from existing investors. The company’s last fund was also for $350 million, a stability that TechCrunch reports is favored by the company; GSR’s Richard Lim said in an interview, “We have the same strategy, the same team and expect the same nice results.”
GSR Ventures’ IPOs include online travel site Qunar and Chinese daily deal site Lashou.com.
