Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is preparing to wind down boxed retail software from their stores. Apple prefers that customers now buy Mac software from the Mac App Store. The products that will no longer be available for purchased in the form of boxed software includes iWork ’09, Aperture 3, iLife ’11, Apple Remote Desktop, and Jam Packs for Garageband.
