Jarrod McKinney’s first iPhone 4 fell off a bathroom shelf and it cracked. He was shocked to see how easy it was to crack the glass of the iPhone 4. It turns out that same phone survived a 13,500 foot drop. After going skydiving, the iPhone 4 fell out of his pocket and it landed on a building that was about a half-mile away from where his parachute landed.

Jarrod’s skydiving instructor Joe Johnson watched McKinney retrieve his phone using a GPS tracking application. Johnson called the broken phone and surprisingly, the phone received the incoming call. The iPhone 4 had an Incipio-brand phone case protecting it. The case was still on when the phone hit the ground.
