Move.com Acquires Social Search Startup Company Socialbios

Move, Inc. (MOVE) is the parent company of Move.com and other real estate and finance websites. Move.com has acquired SocialBios. Socialbios is a social search startup company that allows individuals to to create a single online profile, similar to About.me.

“Move will leverage the SocialBios platform and talent to develop products that connect people with real estate professionals based on the commonalities of their on- and offline social networks,” said Move in a statement.

SocialBios executives Ernie Graham, Ira McMahon, and Andrew Van Tassel will be joining the product development team at Move. SocialBios is based in Denver, Colorado.
