Rebecca Black is a 14 year old girl that shot to fame when her mother paid $4,000 to have a single and music video put out as a vanity release through the record label ARK Music Factory. The song was called “Friday” and it hit over 160 million YouTube views after it spread on social media websites like Facebook and Twitter. “Friday” has been highly criticized as “the worst song ever.”

Now Black has released a new single called “My Moment” and it has surpassed 10 million YouTube views. The “My Moment” song discusses Black’s rise to fame and how she deals with “haters.” Black is expected to have a 5-track EP in August.
