Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has launched a new service for businesses called Page Speed Service. When you sign up for the service, point your DNS entry to Google. Then they will enable a tool to fetch your content from your servers, rewrite your webpages, and serve them from their own servers.

“Your users will continue to access your site just as they did before, only with faster load times,” stated Google. This can speed up your website by 25-60%. Google will allow you to test out how much they can speed up your website before committing to the service.

“Now you don’t have to worry about concatenating CSS, compressing images, caching, gzipping resources,” stated Google. Page Speed Service will be available to a limited set of testers for now. Eventually they plan on charging for the service at competitive prices.
