New Apple iPhone Expected To Launch In October

The new Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone is expected to launch in October instead of the rumors that it will debut this September. Sources with AllThingsD are reporting that AT&T has blacked out employee vacations during the last two weeks of September to prepare for the retail debut of the iPhone.

“I don’t know why AT&T’s calling for all hands on deck those weeks, but it’s not for an iPhone launch,” said a source that is familiar with Apple’s plans. It is rumored that the new iPhone will use the A5 processor, a Qualcomm dual mode GSM/CDMA baseband, and a higher resolution 8-megapixel rear camera.
