RIM Testing A QNX-Powered Phone Code-Named “Colt”

Research In Motion Limited (TSE:RIM) is actively working on getting their first QNX Realtime operating system mobile phone off the ground in time for the new year. The first phone is believed to have a dual-core processor. Rumor also has it that RIM is having a hard time getting QNX to work well with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server software. This is evidenced by the lack of stand-alone e-mail and other productivity applications on the PlayBook tablet device. The QNX-powered phone has the code-name Colt. [IntoMobile]
