Google Introduces Google Catalogs Tablet App
Google has created a tablet app called Google Catalogs that allows users to brows shopping catalogs for free. The app includes features like tagged item information, tap to “Buy on Website,” the option to create and share collages from pages and products in the catalogs, sharing and favoriting products and a search function that can look through multiple catalogs at once. The app is currently only available for iPad but should be on Android tablets soon.
Google lists a selection of catalogs the app offers and assures users that there are more available. The list includes: Anthropology, Bare Escentuals, Bergdorf Goodman, Crate&Barrel, L.L. Bean, Lands’ End, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Pottery Barn, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sephora, Sundance, Tea Collection, Urban Outfitters and Williams-Sonoma.
