“The Help” Becomes First Single Title To Sell A Million Copies On The Kindle

Janet Evanovich and Kathryn Stockett are two more authors that have joined a group of several authors that have sold over a million copies of their books on the Kindle. Kathryn Stockett’s first novel “The Help” has sold over one million copies of the e-book.

Janet Evanovich authored the Stephanie Plum mystery series. Evanovich also authored several romance books. Other authors that have sold over one million e-books on the Kindle include Stieg Larsson, James Patterson, Nora Roberts, Charlaine Harris, Lee Child, Suzanne Collins, Michael Connelly and John Locke.

Stieg Larsson was the first author to sell over a million e-book copies. John Locked was the first self-published author to hit one million e-book copies. “The Help” is currently #1 on the Kindle bestseller list and is priced at $9.99. The book has been on the Kindle top 100 for 624 days.
