T-Mobile is going to start selling BlackBerry Bold 9900, which is the first 4G Research In Motion device on their network. T-Mobile is the only carrier that will be selling a 4G version of the new Bold device.

Verizon and Sprint are selling a device called the BlackBerry Bold 9930. This is the exact same as the 9900, but only works on 3G networks. The Bold 9930 on Sprint and Verizon sells for $249.99 with a 2 year contract. The T-Mobile 4G Bold 9900 is selling for $299.99 after a $50 mail in rebate and 2 year plan.

The Bold 9900 went for sale on T-Mobile business accounts this past Wednesday. It will be available for everyone else on August 31st. The new Bold will be running on the BlackBerry OS 7.

The Bold 9900 has a 1.2GHz single-core processor, 8GB memory, 2.8-inch touchscreen, 640×480 pixels, full physical keyboard, 5-megapixel camera on the back that can shoot 720p video, and is the thinnest phone at 0.41 inches thick.
