Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) has dropped the price of the HP TouchPad tablet devices. Currently the 16GB TouchPad (SKU 2842056) at Best Buy is selling at $99.99, down from $399.99. The 32GB version of the TouchPad (SKU 2842092) is selling for $149.99, down from $499.99. HP has decided to discontinue producing the tablets so it is in the interest of retail stores to clear them out to make inventory for other products. There is a limit of one SKU per customer.
