Wikio Raises $25 Million In Funding, Renames To EBuzzing

Wikio Group is a company that is known for running a news engine called Wikio. The company has raised $25 million in funding and has renamed the company to EBuzzing. Investors include Gimv, who put in $14.5 million and Wikio founder Pierre Chappaz.

EBuzzing is a Wikio property that made $15 million in 2010 revenue. They expect to make $25 million this year. The company employs 160 people across various European cities. Ebuzzing CEO Pierre Chappaz said that the funding will allow them to speed up their growth throughout Europe.
