Google SVP of Engineering at Google Vic Gundotra shared an interesting story about Steve Jobs on Google+ earlier this week. On January 6, 2008, Gundotra was attending a religious service when his cell phone vibrated from a number that said “Caller ID unknown.” He ignored it and checked the voicemail later. It turns out that it was Steve Jobs discussing how he wanted the icon changed slightly for the Google mobile application. Below is the full story:

United Airlines have announced this past week that they are replacing the flight decks for pilots with iPads. Instead of carrying 38 pounds of operating manuals, logbooks, and charts, United and Continental Airlines’ 11,000 pilots will be given a pre-loaded iPad. The device will be given to all of their pilots soon too.

The government of Schleswig-Holstein, a state in Germany, has decided to prevent users from “Liking” Facebook Pages. The Schleswig-Holstein government asked institutions in the state to close down their Facebook Pages and remove the Like button from their websites otherwise they will be fined.

Antoine Dodson was made a YouTube sensation after doing an interview, which was remixed by The Gregory Brothers. From the royalties that Dodson collected, he was able to buy a new house in September 2010. Apparently the remix that The Gregory Brothers made with his interview encouraged him to stay in the music business. Dodson has created a new song with an artist named Lady G called “Gucci Bag.” I’d say the song isn’t bad, but it’s not great either. You can listen to it below:
